Freehold Faculty Upcoming Work



Christine Marie Brown will be in The Noteworthy Life of Howard Barnes in the Village TheatreFestival of New Musicals, August 9th-11th at Village Theatre.



Susanna Burney will be playing Roberta in She's Come Undone at Book-It Repertory Theatre running September 13 - October 13.


Gin Hammond will be in a production of a live radio drama with Kate Wisniewski which is conceived and directed by Ki Gottberg called Madcap Melodrama.  It is a hilarious take on a very popular turn-of-the-last-century melodrama, involving vampires, Nirvana songs, and cross-dressing.  It will be at the Seattle University Lee Center for the Arts, September 24th, 25th, 26th. Gin is also working with Melissa Topsher and Ana Maria Campoy on bringing Nemesis to the Velocity Dance Center for a performance of the piece they did for Freehold’s Studio Series, but with dance, for performances around September 11th 2015.  Gin will also be signing autographs at Benaroya Hall (along with Gary Schwartz) for the upcoming International Dota 2 Convention.  She did seven voices on that video game.





Sarah Harlett will be in Middletown at ACT running August 30 – September 29.
John Longenbaugh has just finished proofing the galleys on his plays Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Christmas Carol, soon to be published by Dramatists in New York, and Arcana, to be published by Dramatic Publishing in Chicago. He's also hard at work on a new musical adapted from Betty MacDonald's best-selling humorous memoir Anybody Can do Anything, as well as just completed shooting on a web pilot he co-wrote and co-directed, "Norm Owensen, Medieval Mercenary."

Andy McGinn will be assisting Robin Lynn Smith as an Adjunct Professor of Acting at Cornish College of the Arts in the fall and in the winter will be directing Fuente Ovejuna at Cornish.  Additionally in the fall, he'll be playing Dr. Watson in Hound of the Baskervilles at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.  Andy is also shooting an original short film this month called Only Connect and is in post-production on another original short film called Just a Taste.
Matt Smith has just finished production on his film My Last Year with the Nuns.  They are in post-production currently and plan on submitting the film to film festivals in the fall.  Stay tuned for information on an upcoming premiere of the film.
